Our Package Includes
Chapel hire without décor, wooden benches, preachers stand, table for register to be sign.
Reception hall hire, wooden tables and chairs, cake table, gift table, DJ table, food tables, Cash bar, Back-up generator, Manager on duty, Dance area.
Not Included in Package
Linen, décor, cutlery, plates, champagne glasses, food catering, decorating, use of kitchen. May be rented as extra.
A cash bar is available. As Bosjol is a licensed premises, you are not permitted to bring in or consume your own alcohol. By prior arrangement with management, wine and champagne may be brought onto our premises and a corkage fee of R60 per bottle will be charged for this.
Please note that if drinks be brought in by any guests, you will be charged a corkage fee for each drink, which will be deducted from your breakage deposit.
If you choose to offer your guests an open bar, the deposit must be paid prior to your event.
Bar tabs can be increased on the day with either a credit card or cash payment. If the full bar limit is not reached, the balance will be credited to your account.
Set up is from 08h00 on the day of your function, because the premises cannot be locked. All outside contractors must remove items by 10h00 the morning after your event. Bosjol do not accept responsibility for any items left in the venue after the function.
The venue is available to you until 24h00. At 23h30 last rounds will be called, and the bar is closed strictly at 23h45. Should you request overtime. A rate of R2500-00 will be charged with the absolute final round being called at 1h30. The venue closes at 02h00.
- A R5000-00 non-refundable deposit is required withing 30 days of the first invoice to secure the date.
- The balance of the venue hire needs to be settled withing 2 months of payment of the deposit.
- The client must confirm all changes and cancellations in writing.
- The balance of pre-arranged bar costs, after-hour charges and additional costs must be paid before departure.
- A refundable breakage deposit of R3000 is charged and must be paid prior to your event date.
- The cost of replacing the damaged and/or broken goods (regardless of who was responsible for the damage or breakage) will be deducted from this deposit.
- Should the damage exceed R3000-00, an invoice for the additional amount will be issued and this must be settled prior to your departure from the venue.
- Should no damage or breakage be recorded, the deposit will be refunded within 10 days of the event.
- The R5000-00 booking deposit is non-refundable.
- If a cancellation notice is received in writing 0-90 days before the event date all amounts paid are forfeited. Date changes may be made if Bosjol have availability withing 3 months of the original date.
- If, during the course of the function, management of Bosjol, may at their discretion, from the opinion that any guest has become intoxicated or violent, the venue reserves the right to suspend service of alcohol to that guest and require the guest to leave the licensed area of the premises.
- If this occurs, you will be immediately informed, and we request your assistance and support to ensure minimal disruption of your event and the enjoyment of your other guests
- Linen, including tablecloths and napkins is not included in the quotation.
- Bosjol’s employees and management will not be held responsible for the theft, loss, or damage of any hired goods.
- All electrical connections required need to be discussed and approved by Bosjol in writing prior to the event date to ensure sufficient electrical supply and that no damage is done to the venue.
- Bosjol will take the utmost care in looking after all hired goods to avoid unnecessary loss or damage.
- Please inform your service providers that Bosjol staff are not to be asked to transfer their equipment or décor. Any requests for assistance must be directed to management, should we have staff available, we will be more than happy to allocate staff to assist.
- Bosjol can operate essential facilities such as the lighting in the main venue and bathrooms, power to the DJ and the bar in the event of load shedding or a power failure.
- Bosjol does not accept responsibility for any loss or inconvenience due to power failures or Acts of God
- Whilst every precaution will be taken to safeguard your belongings, Bosjol shall not be held liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever. We recommend that personal and valuable property be removed directly after your function.
- Bosjol shall not be held responsible for any interruptions of services (water, electricity, etc.)
- Should Bosjol buildings, surrounding gardens, décor, or tables and chairs be damaged by the client, client’s guest, or suppliers during the setup or breakdown operations or during the function, the client shall be held responsible and will be billed accordingly. The client will be expected to complete a credit card authorisation of R3000 which will be deducted as necessary.
The following are not permitted at Bosjol
- No pets allowed.
- Anyone entering Bosjol, do so at their own risk.
- The release of wish/sky lanterns, or fireworks.
- Non-biodegradable confetti (feathers, papers, streamers, plastic streamers etc.)
- Permitted confetti will be, flower petals, bird seed, leaves.
- Candles may not be placed directly on the tables. All candles must be placed in a candle holder.
- No alcohol or soft drinks may be brought onto or consumed on the premises.
- By arrangement with management, wine and champagne may be brought onto the premises however, corkage will be charged.
- BOS SALON – Nails, waxing, make-up, permanent make-up, etc. (Packages can be sent)
- MAGICAL MOMENTS PHOTOGRAPHY – Photo’s and videography (Packages can be sent)
- DJ @ R3000-00 EXTRA (CUT OFF TIME: 23H30)
- DÉCOR RENTING – Photo’s with prices can be sent.
